Eddie’s Italian Eatery and the Claremont Police Department are teaming up to raise money for a good cause. On Thursday, Jan. 25. From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Eddie’s Italian Eatery you can participate in the “Tip-A-Cop” fundraiser. Officers from the police department will give “protect and serve” a whole new meaning by playing hosts and waiters for the evening at the restaurant. All tips they receive from the event will be donated to the Los Angeles Special Olympics and San Gabriel Valley Athletes.
Eddie’s Italian Eatery Owner Ed Inglese is honored to have the Claremont Police Department part of this event, “The city of Claremont holds a special place in my heart and to have men and women from the police department here for this one-of-a-kind fundraising event for an amazing cause is so heartwarming.”
Your donation goes a long way, as it enriches the lives of more than 7,500 athletes with intellectual disabilities and their communities through sports, education and athlete health. The Special Olympics of Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley Athletes offer 11 Olympic-style individual and team sports that provide meaningful trailing and competition opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Eddie’s Italian Eatery has plenty of options on their American-Italian inspired cuisine menu, including Ribeye Marsala, which is an 8 oz. grilled U.S.D.A. choice ribeye topped with
Cremini Mushroom Marsala Sauce, served with roasted potatoes and garlic spinach. They have many other specials, including: Pamigiana, Chicken Mediterraneo, Pesce Bianco, Chicken and Sausage Campobello, and many more options to choose from.
Come out for a good cause and celebrate with the fine men and women in blue who protect and serve the fine city of Claremont. Enjoy a delicious plate at Eddie’s Italian Eatery and support the Los Angeles Special Olympics and San Gabriel Valley Athletes on Thursday Jan. 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
